Places are good and bad, positive and negative. They are good/bad for certain plants, for particular people, or for relaxation or concentration. The qualifier lies in the subject or its original and subjective connection with a particular place. What is good for one is not necessarily good for the other. Adjective /
(Agriculture; of farmland) plowed and harrowed but left unsown for a period in order to restore its fertility as part of a crop rotation or to avoid surplus production. In addition to this purpose, it can be used as a means of weed control, combined with other practices, such as planting rotation.
A fallow period of time is one in which ‘very little happens’.

This ongoing project began in a period of suspension, due to the COVID-19 pandemic that is plaguing the world. In a movement of seclusion, I moved to an inactive farm, originally built in the late period of the apogee of the coffee plantation in Brazil. The property, listed by the regional cultural and architectural heritage, has a part of the original Atlantic forest, vegetation of random and harmful species that has taken over the areas previously intended for planting, in addition to 'exotic' species consciously transferred to elaborate a botanical garden private.
Fallow is a time of pause and creativity. A moment to stop and look at yourself and notice the interaction of non-human species. It is a zone of inspiration and a large-scale experiment with an indefinite duration.

Different folk belief motifs relating to illness caused by underground beings and energies seem in some way to be similar to beliefs about dowsing, although in fact they are too far from each other both temporally and culturally to have a direct relationship.
